After
the film company knows how the movie is going to be distributed. The techniques that are used to market
different target audience on getting publicity on a film or movie are done:
• In theatres:
Trailers are a main
publicity for a film because they are delivered directly to movie-goers. They show
them in theatres before movie showings.
• In Television they show
quick 30 second adverts about the movie mainly the most epic scenes to get
people interested in the movie and radio promotion.
• The internet via twitter or YouTube adverts.
• Promotional tour: Film actors, directors, and producers appear
for television, radio, and print media interviews, sometimes showing a
clip from the film or an outtake. After film release, key personnel make
appearances in major market cities or participate remotely via
"satellite" or telephone a famous example of this is when batman the
dark knight rises got released it had many movie premiers in London and Ney
