Dark knight robbery scene

As a group we chose this scene to recreate and make our own swede because it had a faster pace and the great revelation that the joker  was there the entire time, personally I enjoyed the ending of this clip the most that they came in as a team to achieve one goal but in a dodgy dog world, its every man for himself and as they complete the task of robbing the bank and getting away the joker kills everyone then revels his idently... pretty smart!

PRODUCTION

Production is the making of and creation and the process that takes place before a movie is made. It involves an initial story, idea, through scriptwriting, dealing with finances, handling with the staffs accommodation, casting and shooting.

In post-production these tasks are done:
  • ·      Editing video footage
  • ·      Editing the soundtrack, adding sound effects, music, etc.
  • ·      Adding titles and graphics
  • ·      Colour and exposure correction
  • ·      Adding special effects
  • ·      Re-shooting certain scenes if required

DISTRIBUTION

Once the movie is completed. A film company or individual responsible for realising films and getting it out to its audience in the theatre or online like DVD, Video on demand , download , television programmes through broadcast syndication etc.

MARKETING

After the film company knows how the movie is going to be distributed. The techniques that are used to market different target audience on getting publicity on a film or movie are done:
In theatres: Trailers are a main publicity for a film because they are delivered directly to movie-goers. They show them in theatres before movie showings.
In Television they show quick 30 second adverts about the movie mainly the most epic scenes to get people interested in the movie and radio promotion.
The internet via twitter or YouTube adverts.
Promotional tour: Film actors, directors, and producers appear for television, radio, and print media interviews, sometimes showing a clip from the film or an outtake. After film release, key personnel make appearances in major market cities or participate remotely via "satellite" or telephone a famous example of this is when batman the dark knight rises got released it had many movie premiers in London and Ney York.

EXHIBITION
Exhibition is the retail branch of the film industry. It involves their public screening, usually for paying customers in a site devoted to such screenings, the movie theatre.

Dark Knight Sweded

I like this swede of the Dark Knight because they made the effort to make the props such as the Batman Motorcycle and they used various angles such as a close up to show the expressions of the amateur actors. Although this swede looks like they took their time in making the swede and gave effort in the post production and thats what makes this swede very entertaining regardless of the horribel acting.

PRODUCTION
Production is the making and creation  and the process that takes place before a movie is made. It involves an initial story, idea, or commission, through scriptwriting, casting, shooting, editing, and screening the finished product before an audience that may result in a film release and exhibition. There are many things which can happen in post-production. Common tasks include:
1.Editing video footage
2. Editing the soundtrack, adding sound effects, music, etc.
3. Adding titles and graphics
4. Colour and exposure correction
5. Adding special effects
6. Re-shooting certain scenes if required ("pick-up" shots)
In some cases post-production is relatively straightforward, consisting of choosing and arranging footage in the correct sequence. In most cases however, post-production is a time-consuming job taking longer than the actual production phase.

DISTRIBUTION
Once the production of a movie is completed. The branch of the film industry where the finished film is supplied to places it will be shown. A film company or individual responsible for realising films and getting it out to its audience either theatrical or home viewing (DVD, Video on demand , download , television programmes through broadcast syndication etc.)
A distributor may do this directly (if the distributor owns the theatres or film distribution networks) or through theatrical exhibitors and other sub-distributors. There are four main routes
      1.Threatrical distribution
      2.Early distribution windows
      3.Home video distribution
      4.Non-theatrical distribution

MARKETING
Film promotion is the practice of promotion specifically in the film industry.  The techniques that are used to market different target audience on getting publicity on a film or movie are done :
In theatres: Trailers are a mainstay of film promotion, because they are delivered directly to movie-goers. They screen in theatres before movie showings. Generally they tell the story of the movie in a highly condensed fashion compressing maximum appeal into two and half minutes, Film posters, Slideshows, Standees.
      Television and radio promotion
The internet via twitter or YouTube adverts. Creation of standalone studio-sponsored per-film websites such as "example-the-movie.com".
Promotional tour: Film actors, directors, and producers appear for television, radio, and print media interviews, sometimes showing a clip from the film or an outtake. Interviews are conducted in person or remotely. During film production, these can take place on set. After film release, key personnel make appearances in major market cities or participate remotely via "satellite" or telephone.
Audience research: this is a key element that part takes when producers a marketing there movie. There are seven distinct types of research conducted by film distributors. When audience research is conducted for domestic theatrical release, it involves these areas:
1.     Positioning studies versus other films that will premiere at the same time.
2. Test screenings of finished or nearly finished films; this is the most well-known.
3. Testing of audience response to advertising materials.
4. Tracking surveys of audience awareness of a film starting six weeks before premiere.
5. Exit surveys questioning film goers about their demographic makeup and effectiveness of marketing.
6. Title testing in an early stage.
7. Concept testing that would occur in development phase of a film before it is produced

EXHIBITION
Exhibition is the retail branch of the film industry. It involves not the production or the distribution of motion pictures, but their public screening, usually for paying customers in a site devoted to such screenings, the movie theatre.

Dark Knight Swede

I like this sweede becuase it remakes all the main scenes in the movie and makes them look like a world class movie but with very little budget. the robbery scene which we are going to be doing was all done in cardboard but we decided to act it out. in the scene where the batman rides his motorcycle they used cardboard design to replicate the metals in the real movie.
